AI Is a Tool. It Is Not the Director.

HEX's stance on generative systems: expand the canvas, keep judgment in the chair.

Generative tools are most useful when they remove cost barriers, not creative ones. HEX uses them for scaffolding and speed, and final taste still routes through human producers and directors.

The distinction matters. A model can hold a mood board, rough a previz, or widen the field of options before lunch. What it cannot do is decide which option is right, or carry the intent of a scene from the page through to the cut. That judgment is the job, and it stays in the chair.

So HEX treats these systems the way it treats any other instrument on set: useful in the right hands, invisible in the finished work, and never the one calling the shot.
